LANDSCAPE PAINTINGS
The inspiration for her landscapes is in the main, the stunning coastline and Downs which surround her home in Sussex. A prolific painter, She interprets this in her own unique way.
' I'm inspired by many artist and all genre's of work.The post-Impressionists, in particular, the Expressionists, the Fauves, and by David Hockney, the St Ives group and many, many more. Light and colour, draw me to a scene and I often draw on site and make quick sketches. These are translated into paint back in the studio and the work gradually transforms to capture the escence of a feeling and fleeting moments in time!'
